Shop Life.

Sweetpea's is a unique shop, with quite the cast of characters.   Being a florist isn't easy.   Our job is to convey the sentiments of our customers.    We deal with all aspects of life, from birth to death, and all levels of relationships, business, personal, love and support.    We become emotionally invested in many of our customers and their lives.   Doing this daily, takes its toll; especially during busy holidays.   There are good days, great days, and hard days.    Not one is the same. 

The shop is our home, which makes sense when you learn that our new location is a converted Edwardian Century Home.    We can tell you, if you thought renovating a century home was challenging, try turning one into a fully functional, very busy floral studio and retail shop.    Whoa nelly .... that was an adventure.

Our daily life has a lot going on, and often, our good humour and ability to support each other, carries us through.   A snack and coffee run is pretty helpful too.
