Ordering Flowers for the Funeral Service or Visitation

Flower arrangements sent to visitations and ceremonies tend to be larger in size and scale.   For these pieces, whether sprays, wreaths or stand alone pieces, we recommend your budget begin around $175-200 and go up from there based on the size and complexity of the arrangement.

We would be more than happy to accommodate smaller budgets as well.   We will advise you that smaller arrangements can sometimes be lost in a room full of larger scale pieces and ask that you be understanding in this regard if you do not immediately see your arrangement at the ceremony.    Sometimes these pieces are set at guest book tables, or as accent pieces off to the side.

Ordering Sympathy Flowers to go to the Home

Sympathy arrangements sent from non-immediate family, friends and colleagues are often stand-alone pieces.  These pieces can be sent to the visitation and funeral, or directly to the home.  When designing for the funeral ceremony, we recommend a budget beginning at $150-175 and going up from there.  This allows us to make a large enough piece to be seen by the immediate family.  These pieces tend to be made one-sided, creatively using greenery to add size and scale to the piece.

Alternatively, if your budget does not accommodate this size of piece, we recommend a smaller arrangement sent directly to the home.  These pieces are designed in a more subtle style and suited to a residential environment.  These arrangements are a personal way of sending your thoughts and sympathies to the family, with the flowers being enjoyed for an extended length of time.  Starting price for arrangements of this style, we recommend $80-100 for a base arrangement and increasing as your budget allows.

HANDWRITTEN DEDICATION RIBBONS FOR FUNERALS

Unlike traditional flower shops, using pre-made letters, stapled or glued to ribbon, or the modern ribbon printers, Sweetpea's offers custom made dedication ribbons, featuring handwritten script lettering.

We feel this added personal touch provides a greater sense of thought and caring into our pieces.

Due to the nature of these items, we do require 24 hours notice to create them for you.
